Happy First Birthday, Lillian!
There is nothing quite like the joy of a one-year-old’s birthday party and this one went down with style – tiny cupcakes, champagne and (of course) a pink tutu! Lillian has a mind of her own and moves fast these days compared to our first meeting back in 2011. We’re certainly going to miss her mom and dad when they move back to St. Louis! Congrats on making to through year one!

Introducing Gitzo!
Recently, we’ve made an addition to the K&K team. It’s not a new camera, photo accessory, or (as his name may imply) a tripod… this is Gitzo! Adopted from the local no-kill shelter, Family Dogs New Life, he’s made quite a splash into our lives and we feel very lucky to have him in our trio. His past is a bit of a mystery – he has a lame front paw due to being shot in the shoulder, but he’s on the mend! And while he won’t be attending many weddings with us, he’ll be an excellent assistant on other photographic outings.

We had a blast wandering the Pearl District with Portland couple, Ali & Danny! There’s nothing better than starting your day in the city with a cup of coffee and a stroll through the park… and it was a fabulous, summery day in PDX!
Happy Engagement you two! (and let us know when you decide to move to the Pearl so we can come enjoy your balcony above the city ) We are looking forward to the big day in August!

Maddie & Brett
Though the sun wasn’t out much this Memorial Day weekend, it was a beautiful day to spend at Cannon Beach… and these two were all smiles for each other! They fit so perfectly together, it made for such a wonderful session! We really enjoyed hiking across the dunes, walking through town, and eating delicious pizza. (And special thanks to Bella for waiting so patiently to play on the beach while we were photographing mom & dad.)
Thanks for all the beautiful smiles! We are looking forward to the big day in September!
